Elspeth Attwooll MEP elected Vice-President of EP Fisheries Committee

Following the changes in responsibilities that take place halfway through the European Parliamentary term, Elspeth Attwooll MEP has been elected a Vice President of the European Parliament's Fisheries Committee.

Commenting Elspeth Said:

"With so many important issues affecting the industry and the whole project of developing a maritime strategy more generally, I am grateful for the confidence colleagues have placed in me. I shall use this opportunity to do all I can to promote the cause of regional management of fisheries."
